Cow Chip Fundraiser for The Friends Of Brookfield
When: At The Brookfield 2nd Annual Agriculture Fair - August 9th, 2025
Where: On the Brookfield, MA Town Common
Why: To help raise funds for the mission of The Friends of Brookfield - Our mission is to enhance life in town by supporting local organizations, fostering economic growth, and preserving history. Through fundraising and partnerships, we help essential services and new and old businesses thrive, building a vibrant community.
The 2nd Annual Brookfield Agricultural Fair is to boost public awareness of agriculture and its positive influence on our town, particularly among our youth.
What: Each ticket represents a square in the paddock ($20 each). Willow will be released to the paddock at 10:00 AM. The first square to receive a Willow Chip is the winner & will receive 50% of the funds raised.
More Details:
*Oakholm Farm & Brewing Co. will be donating WILLOW, their Scottish Highlander Queen for the event.
* Only 60 squares available to start online. We will add more
* Judges will be present during the event to determine the winner. Any challenges will be determined by the judges. The decisions of the judges are final!
* If the cow chip lands on two bordering squares at the same time the prize money will be awarded to the owner that has more than 50% of the cow chip in it. In the event that the cow chip is equally divided between more than 1 square, the prize will be divided equally among the owners of all squares affected. If the cow chip lands in an unsold square, the measurement will move one square north and clockwise to find a winner.
* If the prize hasn't been awarded by 2:00 pm, the winner will be chosen by a raffle drawing.
* You must be 18 years old or older to purchase a square.
* Winner does not need to be present. They can be notified by phone or email.
* RAIN DATE: There is NO rain date - Winner will be chosen by raffle is we need to cancel.
